WWHD (or WWHHD)? WDHD?

Sean Hannity, (insert sarcasm here) America's conscience (remove sarcasm here), had Rudy Giuliani on his show the other day to chat about what's what. Rudy was brought on to the Donnie legal team to replace Michael Cohen, who many were surprised to learn actually graduated from a law school at all, albeit a school that the ABA ranks as one of the worst in the country

Sean asked Rudy all sorts of questions related to Mueller's Russian collusion probe, but Rudy would have none of it. Instead, he bull-in-a-china-shopped his way into the Stormy Daniels payoff affair.

As you may recall, Donnie denied any knowledge of the $130K hush money paid to Daniels by legal eagle Cohen back in October 2016. "Nope, never heard of it, didn't approve it. Nope," or words to that effect. But by then, many of the good citizens of the land of Truth and Justice™ treated Donnie's pronouncements and claims with a ruddy shade of skepticism. We all let it ride, however, because there were so many other fish frying in the big pan that is Washington D.C.

Then along comes Rudy, new kid on the team, eager to make a splash, anxious to show what he's made of, wanting to give the impression that he's not a man to be taken lightly. Rudy tells Sean that, yes, Cohen made the payoff but ... new fact ... Donnie reimbursed him for it. And not out of campaign funds, so no violation there. Purely a personal deal between Donnie, Cohen, and a porn star with whom Donnie had nothing to do, ever, never, nope. Essentially, Rudy blurted out that the President had lied, something that most of us sort of take for granted these days but that's never been publicly admitted by a cog in the administration machine.

Sean was aghast! How dare his hero be thus impugned!

Rudy realizing he may have goofed.
Sean Hannity aghast.

Let's go retro ...WWHD? and WDHD?

First, let's ask the hypothetical question of What Would Hannity Do (or What Would Hannity Have Done) if Barrack Obama had liaised with a porn star in a carnal manner. Or even if a rumor of such a thing had appeared in, say, the National Enquirer. Let's also posit that Obama then had his lawyer, allegedly, try to cover it up. I'm guessing that story, true or not, would lead the Hannity program for months. Not only would the hallowed halls of Fox News(!) ring with calls for impeachment, but the even more hallowed halls of Congress would ring to match the full carillon of the Marktkirche in Hannover, Germany. My, how the times do change.
